Digital identity in Africa
The yearly event for the promotion of transparent and responsible adoption of digital identity in Africa, ID4Africa, opened its doors on Tuesday, April 24th. The three day event takes place in Abuja, Nigeria attracting over 1500 delegates from government and international development agencies as well as regional and local technology and solution providers. The conference is held at the Abuja International Conference Centre (AICC) and the focus this year is on the issue of digital identity. An expo is also organized.
SICPA is attending the event as an exhibitor and presenter. Indeed, SICPA delegates will present different solutions and approaches to enhance ID security as well as the latest developments of its EXTENS® SmartStamp solution.
Dr. Jean Salomon will analyse the problem with ID credentialing during his presentation on April 26th entitled “Credentials on the move: path and price for ID sustainability”.
