CSR Award for SICPA Pakistan

CSR Award Pakistan

January 24, 2019 saw the 11th Annual CSR Summit of the National Forum for Environment & Health. For the third year in a row, SICPA Pakistan won the NFEH award in the “Best Practices” category.

Born from a joint venture between SICPA SA Switzerland and Pakistan Security Printing Corporation, SICPA Pakistan manufactures security inks for Pakistani banknotes and value documents. It also provides Marking Security Solutions to more than 75 regular customers in the public and private sectors to protect against counterfeiting, forgery and piracy.

Sustainability is deeply rooted in SICPA’s culture and has been a feature of its values for decades. CSR (Corporate Social Responsibility) is an approach which covers various aspects of SICPA’s activities including its people, its business practices, its impact on the environment and on the communities in which it operates.

SICPA Pakistan’s main CSR focus is on promoting Education and Health for people in need and the underprivileged. This year it has supported the Citizens Foundation and Nasra School Trust and has also initiated an Educational Excellence Award Program to support and encourage employee’s children. Through this programme, SICPA Pakistan has rewarded the best three students to motivate them in furthering excellence in their studies.  In the health sector, a camp was organized to allow SICPA employees to donate blood.  SICPA also supports The Kidney Centre, Jinnah Post Graduate Medical Centre and Layton Rahmatulla Benevolent Trust.
