Alliance to Rescue Victims of Trafficking
Child trafficking is a form of human trafficking defined as “the recruitment, transportation, transfer, harbouring, and/or receipt of a child for the purpose of exploitation before the child reaches 18 years of age.”
The Alliance to Rescue Victims of Trafficking (ATRVT) raises awareness of human trafficking and rescue, and provides a safe house for victims – mainly children from 6-12 years of age.
SICPA supports the Alliance to help children rehabilitate through education and social reintegration by building safe houses that provide social services.
